I just had my 32 week scan to check the position of placenta and babys position as he was oblique/transverse few weeks ago baby has moved but placenta is still very low ans covering the cervix. I have my next scan in 3 weeks time. Can anyone share stories with a posterior placenta? Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You'll be booked in for a c section, but if you have any bleeding before then get straight to hospital. I had DS at 36+1 due to a bleed at 35, all is fine now.

Thanks! glad you and DC are all fine. Should I maybe pack my bag and organise myself a bit just in case? Smile

Yes I'd recommend packing your bag. Getting DH to bring me stuff had mixed results... He brought my nice white wedding underwear, the instruction was old big pants haha

I started carrying low once he went head down, but I think that was because of DS rather than the placenta!

Definitely pack and get ready. At 36 weeks my placenta hadn't moved and I was admitted until the date of the section due to being a 'bleed risk'

Sorry posted too quick (wriggly child). My placenta was anterior though making the surgery a bit more complicated which may have increased the need for admission.
