Another 30 odd weeks to go. I'll look like a beached whale by the time this baby pops out. Anyone else going through this? My stomach is literally growling every 3 hours. How do you keep yourself from gaining too much? I am eating healthy (except the chocolates) ... Lots of veggies and fruits (Helps that I am Vegan) but I have still gained about 5 pounds already ... :(

A lot of it may be water. I'm 9 weeks today and have put on 3lb. I wake up with a flattish stomach but look about 6 months pregnant by afternoon!! It's most likely water retention this early on :)

Firstly, congratulations. ??

Secondly, I could kiss you. ?? I am the same. Wake up with a normal stomach and have to unbutton my jeans by the afternoon.

I'm only 7+3 and I'm exactly the same! So far today I've had.....

2 slices of toast
Malteaster bunny
2 cheese and ham softies
Crips
Chipper
2l of water

Yes me too! Same with being so bloated. Constantly nibbling on crackers/digestives. Feel absolutely massive. The only chink of light is that I'm starting to not be absolutely ravenous - it's just nibbling to stop myself feeling nauseous.

I hear you girls! Really hoping this will pass before I gain too much. I am counting on the spinning classes to help a little bit even though i am going easy on the resistance!

So happy I am not alone! :) :)

It eases but then if you're like me you'll have bursts of absolutely ravenous hunger which I put down to growth spurts. Normally only lasts a couple of days but I can't feel full at these times (even with thr reduced size of my stomach!)

Managed to properly exercise tonight for first time in weeks! Have just been too tired. Hope that'll help!

Trickytricky · 03/04/2015 00:08

I was the same! I'm now 12 weeks and hunger levels are back to normal. Don't fear. I was worried that I would be eating mountains of food for the whole 9 months! It does calm down (well it has done for me).

What about nad chocolate cravings? Anyone have those?
