Piles???? Help

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have quite an embarrassing problem. I've always suffered with constipation even before becoming pregnant but yesterday and today my anus has become so sore and swollen. When I pass a stool (which is not and has never been easy) I am losing a lot of fresh blood. I've had a feel around and around my anus is mainly swollen with potential small piles but nothing big.

I'm worried it's something more sinister. I'm also very worried that when I go into labour my bum will not cope!!!!! I've booked into see doctor for next weekend but I just want to know if anyone else has had this or any advice??? Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm Hmm

sounds like piles to me, but if you can't see a doctor at least get something over the counter for now, both for piles and the constipation that will be aggravating it.

If it really is a lot of blood then I'd ring NHS Direct for advice though, I have bled with piles but never a lot. I know it's not the best conversation to have with anyone but it's always better to be safe than sorry. Hope it gets better soon.

Anusol is safe to use in pregnancy, I had them a couple of weeks ago and doc recommended it. cleared the buggers up in a few days although I wasn't losing any blood
