Hi all

Think I'm clutching at straws but I've read that loose bowels is a good indicator that labour may soon be under way, would anyone agree?
Or this there anyone who suffered for a few days but it led to nothing? I'm usually quite, er, regular so it is unusual for me.

Also be having on off random pains for a few weeks but I wouldn't say they've been like period pains, and have also been getting those wonderful shabby cervix pains when walking that no one tells you about :)

I'm going for.a curry tonight to see a friend who's just had her baby so really want to go but not sure a curry is the best idea given the circumstances!

I've read and heard that too... "Like nature's enema' was my friend's exact comment. :)

I guess go for the curry anyway, but have an escape plan if needed... Best of luck!

Excited for you OP x

I had diarrhoea and an upset tummy the day before I went into labour.

Good luck!

Yes I had a bit of this. Turned out to be very early labour!
Loose bowel movements on Wednesday and back ache on and off Wed/Thurs - I didnt realise and thought it was from sleeping funny.
Thurs evening I became incredibly grumpy (!) and then had show at 1am. Baby by lunch time next day.

Go out if you're feeling up to it, but be prepared! All the best!

I think it's the prostaglandins! Might suggest things are hotting up!
