amniotic fluid leak? tmi

I'm 29 weeks and this morning had a water mark the circumference of a satsuma in my pants, sweet smelling and clear. Is this normal? Usually there's a mark but much much smaller ie 1 pence piece size. I'm dithering whether to call my labour ward for advice but i live far away from them no transport/dh tonight so worried about making myself more stressed if that makes sense!

Does it smell distinctly sweet?

Has there been any more since this morning? I'd be inclined to think it's excessive cervical mucus, but if you've been leaking fluid all day, obviously you should get that checked.

Ring the out of hours midwives on the front of your notes. I had to go down for the same thing two weeks ago at 30 weels and they checked it out. Thankfully it wasn't my fluids, but you really should get it confirmwd because if it is fluids you can get an infection.

I would have stressed way more not knowing. Was much happier when they confirmed it wasn't

Does it smell sweet like baby? There should be a triage number on your notes you can call. I'd get it checked personally

Thanks everyone. Lovely triage midwife has advised me to get some sanitary towels to monitor it but is not overly concerned at this stage based on what i told her x
