I'm 38+4 and although I thought that I wasn't as far along as my 12 week scan said I was, I'm pretty sure DD2 is going to arrive any day now. Firstly, my bump has considerably dropped, in fact I almost have a waist again! Secondly, yesterday I was constipated (sorry, TMI!) which never EVER happens to me. Thirdly, I keep getting twinges. Now, I feel wide awake at gone 1.30am. Am I being a crazy lady and just experiencing odd pregnancy side effects or does anyone else reckon D-Day is approaching?

How exciting....I'm sure that something must be happening, but babies can sometimes faff around indefinitely for days before finally deciding to make their grand entrance. But feeling odd is a very good sign.
Good luck, I hope you manage a little sleep.

I'm 39 weeks exactly today. Had a night about 3 nights ago where I had to poo 7 times and thought I'd go into labour the next day but didn't. Have since had episodes of mild period type cramps about once a day. Been nauseous too.

Last time I was 3cm when first got to hospital (was booked in for induction) and hadn't noticed anything at all happening so I'm a bit unsure exactly what early labour is like
