22 weeks pregnant and just been wiping brown blood when I went to the loo and thicker cm. Had nothing like this in this pregnancy so far. Has anyone else had this before? do I need to get seen do you think? Can't phone midwives til tomorrow. TMI alert had sex for first time in ages yesterday Blush, so might be related to that. Just looking for a bit of reassurance and advice please ladies

Sex caused light bleeding for me. Mine turned out to be an issue with my cervix, but it can be that your cervix is just sensitive, from what I can gather its quite common particularly after intercourse. Mention it to your midwife tomorrow, try not to worry though

I had the same at 14 weeks and some again today at 19 weeks, it was brown and just a bit. From what I hear it's normal and we should try not to worry. If it's red then that's more of an issue I think.

As the above poster said it's most likely your cervix, that's what my midwife said when I worried at the 14 week bleed.

Thanks, that's reassuring. Bleeding hasn't got any worse so hopefully no cause for alarm.
