I've had back ache for about 2 weeks now it's the right hand side and going round onto my belly. I've been to the doctors who gave me movelat gel but does not seem to be working it's now starting to keep me awake at night and I'm so tired I can't just rest as have an active 3 year old. Any one else had this. Am I just going to have to put up with it til the end I'm 37 weeks and had enough now :(

I have a similar pain in my back side and ribs/abdomen. It's where baby's bum an feet are. I have a chronic back problem anyway though so that's also part of it. Pain relief is a compromise between the pain and what u are comfortable taking.
I think at 37 weeks things don't really improve but hopefully baby dropping may help.

I've found a hot water bottle on the sore area when I go to bed eases it enough that I can sleep.
Hope it gets easier for you

I've tired the hot water bottle it does nothing. I have the pain all day don't matter where she is laying. Baby has been engaged for well over a month now since the beginning of feb she's been head down.

Can you get a referral to a physio? It might be a muscle is pulled out of alignment due to the changes in weight distribution and they can help with that. Hope you find something that helps though
