I shouldn't have googled this because a few sites are suggesting early labour Sad

It came one quickly and intensely but was all over in about 20 mins (hopefully it's over anyway)

Do you think I need to ring to midwife unit anyway?

Generally they aren't interested in diarrhoea or vomiting unless it goes on for over 24 hours, and you can't keep fluids down. If you started having painful contractions (do not confuse it with bowel cramps....your bump should feel hard and they should be regular) then you would need to call the unit. Otherwise just keep an eye on movements and drink some water to keep hydrated. Hopefully that was it!

Hope you feel better soon.
