Twins still here at 25 weeks too!
That's after eating all sorts of strange things in China during the first 0-3 weeks, a motorbike accident at what would have been 6wks pregnant with a resultant large leg wound (week in hospital, antibiotics, pain killers, local anaesthetics, X-rays), full mountain biking until 10 weeks, snowboarding with jumps at an indoor snow centre, a 10km mud runner at 10 weeks, vitamin A as part of a multivitamin until just after 11wks...
If you hadn't guessed, I didn't know I was pregnant until I started getting severe faint spells at 11 weeks!
Since then I have had 4 large haemorrhages between 12 - 17 weeks and spotting in between, but that turned out to be bleeding from me and not the twins
And after that rocky ride of the first few months, I'm now I'm plonked on the sofa after a bacon sarnie, cup of decaf in hand being booted by two very active little ones having an arm and leg tousle in my belly that at their last scan have met all their growth targets.
Twins can absolutely be hardy little things!!!
After finding out I had 2 onboard, I read through everything about vanishing twin etc, I'm sure I read that if two heartbeats are found, the risks go down no end? Also I know risk keeps going down every single week until it's only about 1-3% after 12 weeks (found that bit out when I started having bleeding)
So hang in there OP, try to relax and look forward to seeing your little ones again in a couple of weeks time. And big congratulations on your exciting news!
