Hello

Does anyone know if waxing your stomach is sake during pregnancy? & i'm 12 weeks btw

I usually get everything waxed by a professional but wax my stomach myself and can't seem to work out if to go ahead??

I've still been getting mine done. Beautician said it was fine as I usually get it done.

Well I haven't specifically had tummy done but my bikini wax needs to go up my bump now and it's safe, it's just the whole thing is a little more painful and awkward (depending on how pregnant you are!)

Sorry I missed you said 12 weeks! That's fine

You can wax anything you like in pregnancy, but be aware that some people find their skin more sensitive than usual. If you think this might be the case, some technicians recommend a new patch test even if you've used the same stuff before. It's up to you though. You may also find the waxing a little more painful than before, but this isn't true for everyone.

It's perfectly safe but you may find you're more sensitive and you may find waxing a bit more painful than usual.

It's probably worth getting your waxing technician to do your tummy from now on, and if it's just the line from your navel to your bikini line that you wax (rather than your whole stomach), then ask her to use hot wax rather than strip wax.
