Grumpy before bed - 35 weeks

Hello all,

Is anyone else getting irrationally grumpy late at night? I feel like I'm stropping about being really unreasonable with DH just before bed. I think it's knowing it isn't going to be a restful nights sleep. Any tips, anyone else in this situation....

Ha this is me, i am nearly 32 weeks pregnant and i cried the other night cause DP said something that upset me (we never argue and have a very happy relationship so this was totally out of the blue) and i definitely have a lower annoyance threshold! I would probably try having a bath, that seems to be the only thing that really relaxes me. Plus it helps with the restless legs! :)

Me too! Although I'm sort of the other way round, I can't get comfy in the evenings so give up and go to bed so I can be more comfortable. Bean is almost fully engaged (38 weeks) but still likes wiggling his toes in my ribs.
I also get quite itchy skin in the evenings when I'm tired and warm so that packs me off to bed too!
DH has finally inflated my birthing ball so that's helping me get a bit comfier.

bath & birthing ball sound like good suggestions, thank you both. I hate being grumpy, so anything that alleviates it welcome....

31+1 and was like that last night... he was being really sweet but I was just irritable and a bit mean... was moaning about the room being a mess and didn't want to be fussed or cuddled. Going to start listening to my hypnobirthing cd and see if that relaxes me.

Agreed, its not nice knowing that you have a crap night of sleep ahead...
