Itchy spots on bump and chest

Is this just one of those oh so lovely pregnancy-related joys? Or something I should mention to the midwife? I've had dry skin from quite early on in this pregnancy, and have itchy spots on my back and front. I actually woke up last night scratching and drew blood! I've not had chicken pox, but it doesn't look like the chicken pox I've seen on children so don't think it's that. Chalk it up to part of the 'blooming' process no one ever tells you about?

Could be shingles? I had it when I was pregnant, really itchy spots across my bump/side. It won't harm the baby so no need to panic, but might be best to get the doctor to check it out.

I had shingles when I was pregnant, you need to see a doctor to get some tablets. It could also be something called PUPPP which is a pregnancy related rash which sadly I also have after giving birth 2 weeks ago! It does occur usually in the 3rd trimester. I would go and see your GP they should be able to diagnose. Hope it gets better soon!
