The last few days I've had some very light cramps and general discomfort which is to be expected at 40 weeks. But in the last day or so I've also had the dreaded fanny daggers where I've had shooting pain in my lower uterus, right next to my cervix. I don't understand how the pain can be so intense in that area since the midwife says I'm at least 4/5 engaged so the wee buggers hands shouldn't be anywhere near there.
