Reduced movement, when to worry?

I am 27 weeks pregnant and over the last couple of days the baby hasn't moved as much as she has been. She still definitely moves and kicks but nowhere near as much as she was doing.

When should I worry?/Go in to be checked? I really don't want to over react and as she's still moving about I know she's probably fine.

I'd ring your midwife and see what they say, and I think they'll want to get you in on a monitor to be on the safe side. I am no expert but that's what I think.

Agree with Rhiannon. Best to be safe.

Yep they want me to go get monitored. I'm sure it's nothing but as you say, better to be safe!

Thanks

If you call they'll have you in to monitor - which may or may not be convenient right this second!
You wont be seen as a priority or anything so dependant on your local unit you might want to try a couple of things first?
Warm bath
Lie on your left and relax (have a nap if you can)
Cold coke and sweets (haribo!) to wake baby up

Same thing happened to me at a similar time and monitoring confirmed baby was fine but I felt somewhat neurotic. I'd had a bit of an emotional/ hormonal week and I think I was quite fretful as well as baby not really moving for 2 days.

Anyway they suggested what had happened was I had slept on my back (which I had the previous couple of days, I kept waking on my back, turning over then finding myself back there) and baby had sunk down into an awkward position. It was still moving and kicking I Imagine but not against me, if you know what I mean.
