Urine result???

At my 34 week app my urine sample came back with multicultural bacteria showing up the Mw said once I wasn't in any pain (no symptoms of kidney infection) it was ok but at my 38 week app (wed) it showed again and dey are concerned and want another urine sample now again? Did this happen anyone else? If so what was the outcome..I'm feeling concerned at this late stage of pregnancy!!

I currently have keytones in my urine with no explanation ... had a liver/kidney test and all normal so they are assuming my metabolism has changed and I'm just not eating enough :/ ... you will be given a course of antibiotics either before or during labour I would think to clear the kidney infection ... you may have had a water infection but not known it and it's travelled to your kidneys, though you would be in a world of pain if that was so.
When you do the next specimen make sure you wash out the bottle just prior to use ... This will reduce contamination which often happens when using the little plastic vials at the surgery ... I've done samples without rinsing the bottle that showed bacteria, did another straight after with a cleaned bottle and it's been clear ... also make the specimen as fresh as possible by collecting as close to appointment time as possible :)

I had all different things in my water towards the end I wasn't in any pain they sent a couple of samples off and gave me anti biotic

I've had exactly the same, when it was cultured there was more than one type of bacteria and epithelial cells. The doctor thinks that it was was not a mid flow sample and the next sample was clear. I thought they world give me antibiotics just in case but they don't seem to care! I'm 39+6!
