Mine is on Wednesday and I'm really nervous about it. Possibly more than I was with dd partly because at 42 I think this is probably the final chance. Everywhere I look seems to be stories of mmc at first scan. Logically I know the odds are in my favour but I'm even worrying that by worrying I could cause a problem!!

Just wondering if anyone else is at the same stage.

Yes!! We were discussing about our options and unless there's a risk of something really wrong, we will carry on with the pregnancy, but we need the information on hands to make final decisions, hopefully everything is performing well for all of us!!

Good luck today plonkie!!

Hello! Thank you for the good luck wishes!

It was fantastic, got a really clear view, and I was concerned initially about that because I'm overweight and know that can hinder things. But it was great, everything looking healthy. Could see baby wriggling around which was insane! Nuchal fold seems normal, but we await the blood test results with the rest of you! I was so happy that my OH could see it clearly, he was really impressed- yes it is an actual baby in my tummy, I've not just had food poisoning for the last two months. Ooh and the little fingers, just so cute! So congratulations and good luck everyone :-)

Ooh and due date brought forward to 29th of sept so I'm actually 13 + 3 :-)

Congratulations plonkie!! So thrilled it was exceeded your expectations. It is amazing that already our wee ones look like babies. I honestly expected to just see a blob! Do you keep staring at the scan picture too? Xxx

Had my scan in Friday - all was well apart from the baby wriggling around so much that they struggled to measure it! Was so strange to see it moving and waving - amazing. So relieved. I was there for four hours though..! They did the nuchal thing and gave a score and I had bloods too - do you think they will write with results? In my excitement I forgot to clarify the process...

anonmam9 · 29/03/2015 19:50

Happymrs

crispiecrunchie · 30/03/2015 09:03

Yay happily! Congratulations! Yes, I think they write to you within a couple of weeks. Xx

Good news crispi!! What is your concern exactly?
I was searching but I didn't find that much regarding my specific results. I received them the same day of the nuchal test as low 1:1106 however there are many people having 1:10000 or more. Anyway I think we will do the HT as well.

crispiecrunchie · 04/04/2015 09:07

Mostly age and 2.6 nuchal measurement. get harmony results in a week! Xx
