My sil is 39 weeks pregnant with her first child. She has suffered the most awful two years, finding out she had major fertility problems just 10 weeks after her wedding. In an appointment with her consultant today, she was told they wanted to do an immediate c section, but have been unable to book her in until Wed. The baby isn't moving much but has a strong heartbeat and is slightly smaller than expected. I think the experts are just erring on the side of caution but I know how desperatly she and her DH want this baby and the next few days will be torture for them until they know their little one is here safely.
