Is this my baby I can feel?

Hi everyone, I'm 17+3 and I'm not sure what to feel movement wise as this is my first pregnancy.

Over the past week or so I've been a bit of a wreck as Id not felt my baby move as of yet and so was worried something was wrong. Two days ago all evening I felt little prods as if from the inside, it almost felt like a little muscle spasm. I've also felt the odd faint fluttering but it is very faint and can only feel it when relaxed. Since then I've felt these movements every day but they only last a split second. I expected the flutters to last a few seconds but as soon as I feel them they're gone. Is this the baby? Thanks in advance x

Yes it sounds like it. It's a lovely feeling, the only part of my pregnancies I really enjoyed!
It will get stronger and last longer at first I would only feel it when I was lying in bed at night when I was really relaxed :)

Sounds like your baby to me. Grin Wait till you see "lumps" appearing, and making the bath water ripple!

Aww I can't wait for that! I was just literally stood at the top of the landing talking to my partner and I felt two distinct little bubbles one after another, more to the left of my bump really low down. I can't really explain the feeling. It felt really strong that one! Can't wait to feel the strong kicks! It's so exciting

I was 17+1 on Saturday and felt my first kick! Bizarre feeling - being kicked from the inside. But my husband said that he'd never seen anyone look so happy! I have been hating every minute of pregnancy so far, but that moment sort of made it all feel worth it!

Aww are you due the 28th? I am too! Grin I've loved it so far, no morning sickness or anything bad at all, apart from the odd dizzy spell plus I've lost ten pounds so far with it, must be the over conscious healthy eating! I Think it must be a little tiny kick, feels just so sudden and split second, but it's definitely noticeable. I also just felt like a little (what I can only describe as my tummy turning) but that also lasts a second. No after feeling. It must be baby! Grin

Yes haha! But the flapping/ fuzzy feeling doesn't last longer than 1or 2 seconds. that's what made me doubt it lol

I'm due on the 28th too! I'm so jealous as I haven't felt a thing yet!

Aww, I'm sure I felt stuff a little earlier but passed it off as gas or spasms or just in my head. I'm pretty sure you will feel something soon!
