I'm on maternity leave waiting for baby to make an appearance.
Interested in what other people have been doing with their time and how they find it.
In my head their are so many things I want to be doing around the house, pampering myself etc but the reality is I'm too tired or physically incapable with baby pushing down on pelvis and huge bump. Plus having DD to look after too makes all chores twice the work as she wants to help Smile
So frustrated but happy.

I had big ideas about batch cooking and laundering baby clothes. I actually just sat around, watching tv and eating ice cream.
You have a rest, as far as dd will allow Grin

I'm planning on teaching myself to bake but if that fails, I have a pile of books that I have been meaning to read for the last two years so will get stuck into them

I have a long list but seem to just be napping and watching tv!

Me too, had all these plans when started Mat Leave 16th March & managed to get some things done last week / see couple of friends, but now the little one is trying to burrow into pelvis/hip/thigh, don't feel up to much this week as can't really bend over or stay off loo - trying to watch telly & relax when I don't feel like I have cystitis! Am 39 weeks tomorrow.

I'm the same. Had plans for the first week and now sat around watching TV, napping and feeling uncomfy and frustrated. Sad

I've got a little list of things to do - small things: clean fridge, wash clothes, organise wardrobe, Hoover, sort out baking cupboard...
I plan to do one a day - today's task is fridge cleaning!
Hadn't thought about batch cooking as standing is too painful due to SPD.
I am also doing a lot of TV watching and catching up on things I've recorded.

My DH has made me a few bits of furniture to paint/distress etc to keep me busy, just hoping the weather will be better than it is today so I can do it outside where it's well ventilated!
