When did you stop work for mat leave?

I am not sure if I have posted this in the right place but...

When did you stop to go on mat leave?

I am due on 18th Oct so I thought I would start my mat leave 2 weeks before my due date and use annual leave to stop 2 weeks before that, so it works out that I stop on 18th Sept.

I am a little worried (with no reason why at all) that I 'go' early.

Any thoughts ladies...

I went at 35 weeks with my first, using 5 weeks of holiday so that mat leave started the week I was due. I'm part time now though and due in September so I think I'll be starting mat leave at maybe 36-37 weeks.

I'm finishing at 35 weeks, I'm using a months annual leave that I've saved up before my maternity leave starts so I'll get pretty much the full nine months with baby. I have an hour and a half commute and a four year old to look after when I get home so there's no way I'm going any later than that. This is my last week at work! It's a personal decision but I feel women should be kinder to themselves at the end of pregnancy. No one else cares if you're busting a ball in the office at 39 weeks and you sure as hell won't get any sympathy from your colleagues!!

I'm finishing at 32 weeks. Using up annual leave then mat leave starts at 38 weeks

I can not wait! Only a few weeks to go.

But I have a physically demanding job plus spd that makes me wanna cry after a shift.

I don't care how bored I'll be. Better than being crippled with pain, unable to walk properly!!!

Last time I worked up to 37+1 and dd arrived at 38 weeks. This time I was meant to be working up to 36+5 but ds arrived at 36+2. Hmm Was really hoping for some time to sort things out and relax this time but it hasn't happened!
