Discharge

Hello - I'm 5 w 1 d pregnant with dc2. I'm having a small amount of very pale brown discharge - a beige colour. It's only on wiping and only some of the time. I did another test this morning and the line came up straight away but I'm worried this means that something is wrong. Has anyone else had this?

It could be nothing but if I gets and darling or bloody no harm in getting some bloods done to ensure your HCG is rising. If it's above 1000 you should also be able to get a scan. At 6 weeks you may be able to see the reassuring heartbeat. Don't let your mind work over time just get the tests done. Do you have a EPU near you? I'd head down there tomorrow morning.

I had this too. It worried me to no end and had no idea what to do or who to speak to.
My GP was fantastic and referred me to EPU at 6 weeks as Bondi explained. I had a scan where I saw a little blob with a heartbeat. It turns out that my brown discharge was just embedding. It went on for weeks afterwards so I continued to worry until it stopped, even though the scan experience went well.
We are all different though, so contact someone tomorrow to get the ball rolling. Good luck
