Everyone is keen to tell me that third babies are awkward?

I am hoping lots of people write to say that is not true!

Third was the fastest and easiest of my three. Almost too fast! Between all the disruptions of phone calls and getting to hospital, I felt that I had barely got focused on labouring before I got to 2nd stage. Transition was just as bonkers and out of control as with the other two, but actual 2dn stage was shorter and easier than with dcs1&2.

With all three I had 2-3w of pre-labour, when I would have mild contractions between 11pm and 1am almost every night. Bad enough to wake me, but would fade away if I walked around for a bit. With dc3 these were stronger and more intense than with the other two.

Glad I found this. Am due my 3rd baby in 19 days (I'm not counting, promise ;) )

1st-4hour labour
2nd-3 & a half hours
3rd-I'm going to sneeze and it's going to painlessly shoot out... ??
