Salad bars

Hello! I am craving a whole foods salad bar box tonight, to the extent that nothing else will do. Nothing I've seen from the NHS says that it's a problem but the internet seems to think it's a no-no.

What do you think?? Thanks!!

Compared to my carb craving which resulted in risotto food poisoning you'll be ok Wink

I've been eating salads from salad bars throughout pregnancy (currently 19+6) - I've been to Whole Foods, Vital Ingredient, and Tossed, where the salads are made fresh in front of you, as well as buying packaged salads from M&S, Pret etc.

I'm veggie and I LOVE salads - my diet would be too restricted if I didn't eat salad for nine whole months!

I've just had my 20 week scan and baby is well and healthy.

Oh good thanks ladies! I settled for two of the pre-boxed ones (potato salad with pasteurised egg and a really rebellious pesto pasta with a scattering of feta!), but feel much more relaxed about it. In fact I've been to vital ingredient lots of times (I bloody love that place!) and never even thought about it... But I DID email them to check and all their dressings are made with pasteurised egg.

Guess we have to take our pleasure where we can get it at the moment!! X
