MAT1B Form

I sent my MAT1B form off to HR over a month ago but have not heard anything back from them.

This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure what to expect from work and when I need to be chasing them up!

Can anyone else shed any light on this for me?

Have you had confirmation of your maternity leave dates, pay, etc.

You should get a pack of documentation about maternity leave. However, if you'd already notified them of your pregnancy prior to sending of the MAT1B and you've already had this, there isn't anything 'extra' from sending it in.

I've had nothing from them as of yet

I have already completed my maternity forms regarding mat leave with my manager. She spoke to HR this morning and advised them that my MATB1 form will be with the Monday as well as a 'Change of Conditions' form to confirm what we have already been through.

How many weeks pregnant are you Pinkie?

My work are crap with anything like this, considering they are a huge international company you would've thought they would be on the ball with HR matters!

I'm in the same boat OP. Submitted everything at end of January but still nothing. Feeling a bit anxious as I've now left work (chunk of annual leave before maternity leave starts) bur my manager text today to say she's chased it with HR who have confirmed they've received everything & I'll get a letter confirming everything once it's been processed

I've just read that our employers must write to us within 28 days stating the date we are expected to return from maternity leave. Where do we stand if that haven't done this?

Chase it up. It's really confusing, I think they have to confirm your right to maternity leave within 28 days of you informing them of your intention to take it.

I chased up my work this week as I hadn't had anything back, and I put in a not-so-gentle reference to the guidelines on the gov.uk website. I got a response the day after.

I didn't get anything back from hr until I'd actually left on maternity leave. As long as they've got it and know when your leaving etc I wouldn't worry about it
