Can you scan/photocopy a baby scan image?

Is it best to buy multiple copies of the scan or scan it into my computer and photocopy it myself?

Will it damage the picture?
Thanks!

I just took a photo of mine on my phone

I photocopied mine onto photography paper bought from the pound shop. No damage to original at all.

Photocopying or scanning is fine. Just make sure you don't laminate the original.

Had ours today and we were told not to photocopy xx

We paid for 2 sets at the hospital thinking it would be 2 sets of the same 2 photos but it was 4 different ones - good in theory but only 2 were any good so wish I hadn't bothered paying for the 2 that just look like grey blurriness!

I second just taking a photo of it on your phone and then uploading it to pc or whatever (equivalent of scanning isn't it?)

We scanned ours on the basis that the original will fade with light exposure. We were also told not to photocopy it due to light / hear exposure.

Isn't the scanning process the same as photocopying though?

imip · 20/03/2015 11:22

I scanned. It's really important if you want it forever as the image does fade overtime.

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 20/03/2015 11:22

I scanned all of mine to email to family and get printed at photo machines etc and they've all been fine (I had a lot of different pictures as I had private scans too)
Defo don't laminate them though - that will ruin them!

I photocopy mine - the originals do fade, so photocopy then laminate the copy (not the original)
