Symptoms disappeared

My pregnancy symptoms seem to have disappeared overnight, and as awful as they made me feel I'm now worried!

I had just started with morning sickness and felt sick as a dog (no vomiting though) for the past 5 days and extremely sore boobs and exhaustion. Woke up this morning feeling not tired (despite waking 3 times in the night), no sickness and no sore boobs.....does this mean something is wrong?

Hey Anna,

Not always, this happened to me at 6 weeks and also again at 10 weeks.... apparently symptoms can just come and go!

I had my 12 week scan yesterday and all is well so don't panic just yet!

Thanks, I'm trying not to worry but can't help it. My m/s started at 6 weeks exactly and now at 6+5 all seems to have stopped. Yesterday I felt sick 24/7 and couldn't eat a thing, today no nausea at all.

Congrats on your pregnancy and on your 12 week scan being fine!

i've been panicking since day 1 about having no symptoms, and from the nonstop googling i have done (which i do not recommend!), one thing is crystal clear: symptoms or the lack of are a really unreliable measurement of whether things are right or wrong. there are people with strong symptoms who tragically lost the baby a few weeks before, and there are people with zero symptoms or wildly fluctuating symptoms who are totally fine. apparently your hormones come in batches, rather than steadily, so that can explain a sudden drop.

so try not to worry, your symptoms will probably be back tomorrow! but if you can't stop, maybe try and book a private scan if you can?

fingers crossed!

Thanks for the reassurance. I have a private scan booked for Saturday as my OH says he can't cope with my worrying for another 5 weeks. Fingers crossed!

Lots of luck! Please keep us posted! X

Well had an early scan today when by my dates should have been 8 weeks but only measured at 6+2 but she was able to pick up a heartbeat so that's a good sign at least even if measuring small!

That should be 7 weeks not 8.

That's only a few days out - a bit later ovulating or implanting and that's it! A heartbeat is a great sign. Congratulations! X

Ps if it helps, I was measuring 6+ 2 at my 8 week viability scan. She said either it wasn't growing or I'd ovulated late and gave us 50/50. I was terrified! But then a tiny bleed 3 days later showed the baby had grown another 4 days and then a scan last week showed it bang on for 11+2, so it was definitely just a bit slow off the ovulation/implantation starting line (probably going to be late for everything just like its mum) x

Gah making no sense - I meant a scan after tiny bleed showed growth!
