I have developed the worst sweet tooth-I'm trying not to give in but I'm failing! When I'm good and I remember I buy and freeze grapes and have them as an alternative. They don't quite hit the spot though!

39 weeks now and Haribo and Percy pigs have got me through quite a few days. The rest of my diet has been fine but I've even hidden sweets from my DD! Don't worry about it.

Moam joysticks - dribble

irishamy89 · 18/03/2015 09:25

The chocolate malteaser bars!

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 18/03/2015 09:53

Marks and spencers Jelly beans...and really cheap sweets from the corner shop...

RL20 · 18/03/2015 10:17

Also craving sweet things! When usually I'm all for savoury foods.
Some of my favourites are Turkish Delight chocolate, any sour sweets, Wham bars (or any other bars alike), kinder egg chocolate, just to name a few!
Most recently though I've started wanting apple which makes me feel a bit better because I'm still getting the sweetness! Although not necessarily full apples, I started off with them fruit bags you get from mcdonalds, with sliced apple which are always given really cold and the apples are lovely and crunchy Grin I discovered yesterday that ASDA sell apple fruit bags too, and they're only 5 bags for £1.50 so I bought some and have put them in the fridge Grin

I'm the same, normally if you offered me the choice of a sausage roll or cake it would be the sausage roll but now... well now I would break your arm to steal your cake.

For me its fruit mento's.... gawd I love them

wowiesis111 · 18/03/2015 11:36

I'm almost 26 w and I'm the same. I'm having another boy but this time can't stop craving sweet things. Don't remember being this bad last time!
It's hard as until you have something the cravings wont subside but you get the guilty feeling knowing it's not great for the baby.
I've never really been into fruit ( I'm more a veggie girl) so the thought of replacing the swees with fruit just won't do it for me.
As I'm typing this I'm thinking about what's in my cupboard that I can munch on... No that's right I'm all out of sweets. I've eaten them all!! Eeek!

RL20 · 18/03/2015 11:52

I'm having a boy too Wowie Grin
I've also had about 10 coconut ring biscuits in the past hour Shock and cups of teas with sugar!
I want to go to the shop to get a wham bar now!
Another one I've just remembered is Ribena. I go through about a medium sized bottle a week! (As in, the one that you dilute)

I am 23+3 and eating sweets. I think it's because I was on weight watchers for four years before now so sweets were limited!

pinkie87 · 19/03/2015 16:18

Fruit pastilles and tangfastic haribo for me!

OMC1 · 19/03/2015 16:32

pinkie It's all about Haribo Tangfastics for me too !!

Worst sweet tooth ever since being pregnant, I am desperately trying to find alternatives as I don't normally eat this much sugar, but as well as the Haribo, I want chocolate fudge cake, like, all the time and Apple Tango by the gallon!

BumWad · 19/03/2015 16:36

It's all about fizzy cola bottles!!!!

misssmilla1 · 19/03/2015 16:49

Skittles, full fat ginger ale or orange pop and chocolate mint ice cream here.

Findingthisdifficult1234 · 20/03/2015 18:10

Same, m &s sweets are divine! I'm trying to get onto bags of unsalted nuts and raisins though, easier on the heartburn...

RL20 · 20/03/2015 20:03

Has anyone tried the strawberry nougat bars from Boots? I think they're in their Shapers range. They are lovely and I don't remember them giving me any/that much heartburn as other chocolate does. And they satisfy the sweet craving too Grin although as they are 2 for £1, I usually end up eating one after the other Blush
