Unusual discharge tmi!

Sorry about this...reposting with a different title to see if I can get any advice from you all. I'm 12 weeks pg tomorrow and today I've had quite a lot of ewcm type discharge, more than usual, and the colour has been unusual too, a dark brownish shade.
I'm worried it's the start of something...can anyone advise or reassure?!

Im 5 weeks and have had some discolouration. I think it's normal. Have you booked your scan in? That's the best way to tell :)
They can't do anything for me if it is something as I'm so early on - a scan won't show up anything right now.

Thank you for the reply. My scan is on Friday. Had a little bit more this morning. Definitely brownish. Oh gawd. Am panicking.

They usually say red blood is the concern. Brown points to old blood, I had pink discharge after intercourse in the first trimester and then brown following that. It even happened during my 12 weeks scan where we could see a perfectly happy baby and am now 30 weeks

Give your midwife a call for some reassurance :) hope the scan goes great om Friday
