Confusingly pregnant post-miscarriage.

This is my 4th pregnancy so you'd really think I knew the drill by now, but I can't for the life of me work out how pregnant I am!

I had a MMC at about 8 weeks on 4th Jan and a negative test on 1st Feb.
Got a BFP on a cheapie on 27th Feb so bought the fancy Clearblue that gives you the dates
Got 2-3 on 5th March, got 3+ on 9th March.

Am ridiculously chuffed that it's all happened again so easily but tempered with that is the worry that it's all going to go horribly wrong. The EPU have said I can go for a scan when I'm about 7.5 weeks, but I don't know if that's 7.5 weeks since conception or 7.5 weeks pregnant (which, I think is only about 5.5 weeks since conception)

Haven't had a period since 2012 so that's no help. It's the 2 weeks difference thing that's throwing me I think!

I'd say you must be between 6.5 and 9ish weeks pregnant (so 4.5 or 7 from conception. You would be about 9 weeks if that negative you got on the 1st Feb was the last possible day you would have tested negative. You would be 6.5 if the bfp on the 27th February was the first possible day you could have tested positive.
So I'd have EPU scan next week to be sure you're past 7 weeks but still in time to have booking/12 week scan etc.

Yes if you haven't had a period since your miscarriage then they will most likely count your MC bleed as your last period.

I miscarried my first pregnancy. Bleeding started on the 11th march and I conceived very shortly afterwards. I was dated from the 11th and was told I conceived around the 24th these dates were confirmed by a scan.

Thanks. I didn't have a miscarriage bleed as it was picked up on a scan and I had an MVA (a bit like a D&C) a week later so I've literally not bled for years (combination of pregnancies and breastfeeding)

I've been booked in for a scan on Friday so fingers crossed this one is good news!

I mc 1st December had negative test at hospital and negative bloods. I had a positive pregnancy test on Boxing Day and my dates were initially worked out from the 1st day of mc bleeding which was 1st December. I have had scans now though and been out forward 10 days so I actually conceived before I miscarried!!! Even epau can't work it out x

So, I had my scan this morning and there is one little baby with one little heartbeat and I'm 8 weeks since conception so time to get booked in and start believing that this little bean is going to stick! Thank you for all your good advice.
