When did your morning/all day sickness start?
I'm still ttc but with my first child I dint get the metallic taste until I was about 7 week's and then a few days later the sickness started. I just wondered if anyone got it from the first day they tested either before a missed period or the day af was due?

I felt sick on the day af was due. It's what prompted me to take a test. I actually thought I was a week late though as apparently I can't count four weeks on a calender! I carried on feeling and being sick until 12 weeks.Boo. That was with this pregnancy, with ds I had a couple of days of very mild nausea at around 8 ish weeks and nothing else.

sarkymare · 17/03/2015 14:03

With DS I was very sick from 5 weeks onwards. Thinking about it the nausea probably started at about 4 weeks. I did not know I was pregnant until 5 weeks when the A&E nurse asked me where I was having my baby!

With this pregnancy the sickness started at about 6 weeks but got in full swing by 7

Number3cometome · 17/03/2015 14:47

6 or 7 weeks, and boy did it start!

ILiveOnABuildsite · 17/03/2015 14:53

About 6 or 7 weeks for me too and it started full force, it took me 4 days to realise it was morning sickness rather than just a bug or something stopped at 15 weeks but the weeks in between I lived on water and tomatoe puree sandwiches (don't ask!).

ThatsNotEvenAWord · 17/03/2015 14:54

At about 5 weeks I had nausea that could be cured by eating then by about 7 weeks nothing cured it Sad

sianihedgehog · 17/03/2015 15:31

Never. I had the horrible taste right around the time I found out I was pregnant, then was just totally exhausted for four months. No sickness.

Bigbadgeorge · 17/03/2015 16:44

7 weeks bleurgh

NewMrsX · 17/03/2015 17:18

ThatsNot I'm worried reading your post!

I've had nausea that can be cured with eating since about 5+2. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow so thought because I'd not actually been sick yet it was a good sign but the nausea is gradually getting worse. Oh dear Sad

Skiptonlass · 17/03/2015 17:28

About three and a half weeks. The day before the positive test. It started as puking after eating but feeling ok after, then it morphed into full on, 24 hour, exorcist like vomiting, dizziness and nausea. I had a drip a couple of weeks back that made me feel much better and now I'm only having standard morning sickness. Feel shitty most of the day, puke a few times but I can manage.

Bustherb · 17/03/2015 17:33

7 weeks and I'm still at it now at 24 weeks Hmm x

lowra · 17/03/2015 18:36

Yup 7 weeks

DT86 · 17/03/2015 18:39

Started a week ago, now 6 weeks. Constant nausea, even waking in the middle of the night feeling sick! No vomiting as yet. Feeling rotten. Eating little and often helping a bit.

Ordered some travel sickness bands, should arrive tomorrow, anyone have any experience of them? Did they work for you?

33goingon64 · 17/03/2015 19:21

In all 3 pgs, 5.5 weeks precisely.

DramaAlpaca · 17/03/2015 19:24

For me it was 9 weeks with DC1, 12 weeks with DC2 and before I even knew I was pg with DC3. In all cases, it didn't taper off until between 18 & 22 weeks.

Stinkersmum · 17/03/2015 19:27

8 weeks. Was really thinking I'd got away with it. Definitely not. I'm not actually vomiting, but feeling nauseous and my jaws get all tingly and I salivate a lot, as if I'm going to throw up. It's driving me potty. The only time I don't feel sick is when I'm eating or sleeping. Morning sickness really needs to be renamed.... :(

Xo90 · 17/03/2015 19:30

I remember asking the same question on here wondering when mine would start.
It started at about 6 weeks for me.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 17/03/2015 19:34

About 8 weeks. Still going at 24 weeks Sad

Luciferbox · 17/03/2015 19:37

From 3 weeks. That's how I knew I was pregnant. It lasted until about 14 weeks. Grim.

Gillian1980 · 17/03/2015 19:41

Started at about 7 weeks, all day and all night until about 15 weeks. I took anti-sickness tablets to stop the vomiting but didn't stop the nausea.
Eased off at 15 but now 17+4 and it seems to be coming back :(
