amnio

how certain was the person doing the scan.

i found out with dd3 at 32 weeks, then at my 37week scan (gestional diabetes) i asked them to check she was still a girl lol.

i say amnio, but is it really a risk to have one to find out the sex of your baby?

misdee · 28/10/2006 22:20

really worth a risk

excuse my typing

mum2oliver · 28/10/2006 22:22

Oh god no.Is that really the only way?

only way i know of 100% finding out.

there are 4d scans, but they are pricey. but very clear i hear.

so what are you having?

are you booked for anymore scans?

mum2oliver · 28/10/2006 22:26

A girl I think. No more scans.Dont want a 4d scan as dont think they look very nice.Well I will just have to wait and see.No matter.Didnt know if they could test my wee somehow.Thanku for your response.

ooo i did read something earlier this month about finding out baby sex by taking a sample of your blood. but its very early in the research. its something to do with 'free' cells from the baby being carried with the mums blood. it was really interesting. i think they were using it to find out about any problems they can find out about babies with out invasive(to baby) tests.

but dont think they can find by testing your wee, sorry.
