Recommendations for maternity jeans please

I'm only 14 weeks but none of my jeans fit me anymore. I bought some over the bump slim leg jeans from Seraphine and they're nice but they won't stay up, probably because I don't have a big enough bump yet. So I need some jeans that will fit me now. I was looking at jojo and mothercare. Does anyone have any recommendations please? I am wearing really odd combinations of clothes at the moment because nothing fits!

I liked the new look skinny jeans, I found 'over the bump' to be much more comfy but they didn't stay up very well until I had more of a bump for them to hang onto Smile

Sorry that's not very helpful after rereading your OP.
Blooming Marvellous adjustable waist ones were good before the bump appeared!

Komnu · 16/03/2015 17:36

I really liked the H and M ones, v comfy!

LadesC · 16/03/2015 17:41

I second h and m. Only 18 weeks and not too huge yet bit they work a treat either with band fully rolled up over belly or at the mo i can roll the band down a bit. Mine were the mama skinny ones i think.

Daisy17 · 16/03/2015 17:41

I have some Mamas and Papas under bump slim jeans which I'm still finding really comfy at 30 weeks. Quite expensive but very worth it.

LadesC · 16/03/2015 17:42

Oops no....mine r mama straight high rib

northernlass81 · 16/03/2015 18:37

H+M. Slim fit and over bump. Sooooo comfortable. Just be prepared to buy 2 sizes than your 'normal' size as I always find H+M trousers way undersized. I'm normally a healthy size 12 but have size 16 in H+M jeans!

Redherring at Debenhams Smile

newtonupontheheath · 16/03/2015 20:03

George (Asda) ones have been fab. £14ish, I did click and collect (free)
I read all the reviews first.they are fab.

I think some of the styles do come up small, but not the ones I have which fit perfect

Sillysausage2 · 16/03/2015 20:06

H&m for me too, tried red herring, top shop and new look but they were all baggy and falling down. 20 weeks now, h&m are still the comfiest and were less than 20 quid compared to 50 for the horrible topshop ones Hmm

TinyMonkey · 16/03/2015 20:25

Gap. Didn't need over bump waistbands until the third trimester though.

Under bump ones!

crazycatlady82 · 16/03/2015 21:37

hi

not sure if this is relevant, having never been pregnant before but...

I have bought H&M super skinny, super low jeans with the thought that they may go under my bump? or work well using the hair band trick.

here is the link:

H&M super skinny super low jeans

any thoughts on the viability of my mad idea?!?!

Thanks for the suggestions. Sounds like I need under the bump at the moment. Going to have a look at h&m and asos.

I bought Next narrow under bump jeans from about 7 weeks til 23 weeks, now having to go for full bump ones and found the Debenhams Red Herring ones the comfiest and best for staying up. They have a bit of elastic at the top of the full band which really helps them stay up if your bump isn't really big yet.
Hope you find ones you like, I had a nightmare trying to find comfy ones that fit well!!

Another vote for New Look skinny jeans... Absolutely brilliant, all I wore for about 5 months. Both under bump and over, later in pregnancy. I found I needed to go down one size.

Felyne · 17/03/2015 07:45

I never found a pair I got on with (sorry) maybe in 3 years since I've been pregnant they've improved.

My only advice with skinny jeans is that if they are really tight on your legs and hard to remove, it will be even harder when you're trying to reach around your bump to pull the bloody things off. I returned ones I ordered from boden for that reason, in early pregnancy they were hard enough!

d0ttyne11 · 17/03/2015 07:51

I'm 32 weeks pregnant now with pfb and until about week 28 couldn't get on with the maternity jeans a friend lent me from top shop. However, black maternity leggings (H&M) or maternity tights (Boots) stayed up far better. Finally I think my expanding tum is now able to hold the waistband better!! The jeans have stopped heading south but I had no idea it would take so long to fill out into them.

GoooRooo · 17/03/2015 09:47

I've got mine from Bon Prix and love them. I'm a size 20 though so my shopping options were limited.

sianihedgehog · 17/03/2015 09:59

Mothercare under the bump jeggings and primark under bump skinny jeans were perfect for me at that stage. Now, at 19.5 weeks, I'm finding under bump uncomfortable, and will get a few over bump pairs. Hit up eBay for bargains, no sense paying full price for something that fits for a month.

Number3cometome · 17/03/2015 11:15

New Look - got the skinny jeans (my legs are far from skinny) they are sooooo comfy. Bought my normal size and a size up.
