Clear blue digital test - is it all that and a bag of potatoes?

I kind of hope not...

Ivan's PCOS, so am not regular,

However in the last week I have:

Woken up nauseous on multiple occasions
Woken in the night to be sick
Been overly emotional and weepy
Very tired
Gasy / bloated and constipated
Mild headaches
Backaches
Gone off food / drink
Bra too tight
Need to wee lots

So mum and sister suggest I should take a pregnancy test.
I buy a 2 pack of clear blue digital pregnancy tests Friday just gone and use one on Saturday.
It says 'not pregnant'.

So are these tests as accurate as the packaging describes?
Is my body just playing horrible tricks on me?

Get a first response and do it first thing. Could be pregnant could just be one of those things!

Hopefully this will be helpful, this morning I got a positive frer, a positive internet cheapy and a NOT PREGNANT on a clear blue digital. Have done two more tests this afternoon and both have clear lines so they all seem to disagree with the clear blue. I'm going to believe the majority!

Fingers crossed for you :)

I got 2 negatives from clear blue before a positive on a first response. The clear blue are good but I think they are a couple of days behind. Fingers crossed for you!

So there is some home for me yet!
(Clutching at straws!)

What is a first response? I assumed that was a clear blue?

Maybe I was a bit hasty to go and run a steaming hot bath in protest at the result then too

Go for any test with a line rather than words. You'll find thousands of stories about the ones with words being inaccurate. And use the first wee of the morning-the hormones are more concentrated then. Good luck!

First response is a pink box. Super drug ones are supposed to be good too. Line not words is good rule of thumb. And don't worry about the bath!

SueV14 · 15/03/2015 22:16

I had positive on both first response and clearblue digital on day 27 of the cycle.

scarednoob · 16/03/2015 07:27

First response is just a different brand, but when I got my negatives on clear blue (and went out drinking vodka!), and still no AF, i tried a different brand. BFP!

Clear blue aren't very sensitive, the dating ones were good for me but first response gave me a pregnant really early on before any others
