Found out this morning that I'm 4 weeks ish pregnant, I work as a waitress part time in a busy restaurant, I'm working today and have been rushed off my feet and I'm just concerned that doing too much isn't good for the baby? I can't tell anyone yet as only me and my partner know! Any advice would be appreciated. Xx

No, unless you have underlying health issues there's no way you could be doing too much. You obviously need to be aware of tiredness and dehydration but as long as you feel ok there's no reason not to carry on.

You'll be fine. I think the advice on exertion is not to suddenly start a new intensive regime.

Congratulations! As the others have said you will be fine, if your body is used to being on your feet and rushing around then it is fine. I found out about my pregnancy at just under 4 weeks and then was going immediately on a ski holiday which involved quite a bit more exertion than my body was used to and I was fine. A lot of people complain of being super tired in the early stages so you might just need to make sure you're getting some early nights in.

Thanks guys. I guess I just needed reassurance! I've never been so busy like that so I'm just a bit worried especially with only bring about 4 weeks and finding out today! I hope I've not stressed myself out too much either.
