I'm 18 weeks and the midwife has been out today to check my bp and protein as it was high when I saw the consultant on Wed. I've got chronic kidney disease which was well managed in my last pg and I escaped pre-eclampsia and made it to 39 weeks. This time looks like it could be quite different. What was others experience? I'm bracing to have a pre baby now Confused.

Hi I have had this during all 5 pregnancies , I have had high blood pressure forever!. I was first told about it at 18 when I registered with. New doctor at uni (I don't think it had ever been measured before that).

I had many many appointments through the pregnancy and had preeclampsia once with dc2. Three were induced but not especially early (38 weeks) as a precaution.

I hope things go smoothly for you :)
