I have read various things saying yes fine to do this - just wondered if anyone had any recommendations on which sling/carrier?

I had a csection three weeks ago and currently have dd strapped to me in a Kari-Me sling - it's great! Been using it since week two (after stitches came out) with no issues.

You should be fine using a sling post section, as long as you are comfortable. I'd look at something stretchy so a kari me, Moby, Close caboo, Victoria Sling Lady all of those should be comfy and not put any pressure on your scar.

I used a stretchy wrap sling from about a week/fortnight post section, and it was fine for the amount of time I was able to walk anyway! It sits above your stitches anyway when the baby is small - around your natural waist as the baby should be high enough to kiss the top of its head.

I used a close caboo and it was fine.

I found a baby carrier much more comfy after both of my c-sections than pushing a buggy.
