Which way round do you wear your H&M maternity tights?

Ok I have bought a couple of pairs of maternity tights from H&M and I wore them yesterday. One side just has a line up the middle like run of the mill tights and the other has 2 lines going spreading in a v shape...... I thought this must be the front as it must allow for bump expansion.... but i feel like I have my knickers on the wrong way round iykwim. So I am wondering whether i have got it wrong.

Maybe I am being an idiot.... which is quite likely Grin

two lines at the front, they sit either side of the bump :)

Mine are the same (not H&M) but designed the same way. I wear them with two lines at the front!

Thank you, maybe as i get bigger they will feel more comfortable or maybe they only work if you have a neat bump..... glamours of pregnancy eh!?

I found that maternity tights weren't comfortable if there was any twisting on the legs, but if I got then perfectly straight then they were ok, even when I was wearing them for work last week (at 38 weeks)

Mine fell down whatever way I wore them. Must have been a funny sight doing the pregnant with tights falling down shuffle!Grin

I've got the same HandM ones. Two lines up the front. They're great as bump gets massive.

heidibuttons · 11/03/2015 23:16

Ha! I've been wearing mine with the 2 lines at the back :-) I thought it might be wrong but seemed more comfy......

WorryWurta · 12/03/2015 07:43

It's meant to be two lines at the front, but I found some of my woolly mothercare ones kept falling down and so I turned them backwards- much better!

I found the H&M ones awful - they kept sliding down! M&S ones worked for me. They have a triangle shape at the front in a thinner fabric, much more comfortable :)

Maternity tights passed me by completely - I wore Primark ones a size or two up and hoiked over my bump!

BadIdeaBear · 12/03/2015 10:02

I got these too, and felt like asking the same question as they were so uncomfortable - they just feel wrong somehow, don't they?

I've been wearing non-mat tights up till 22 weeks, but they are doing me no favours at all now - feeling v squished so will have to find some better ones for the tail end of winter - maybe M&S it is.

Yep, definitely two lines on the front. I remember it feeling like I had my knickers on backwards too! If you got the ones in the cellophane packet there is a picture on the packet.
