Winter Coats for Bumps!

Hello

After freezing my way into work this morning, in blizzard conditions across London Bridge (ok, slight exageration but it was cold )I decided it's time to buy a winter coat for bump and I. Had a look in M&S today - there is nothing to fit an expanding tummy.

What are the rest of you doing for winter coats? I am due March.

Thanks

They have maternity coats in Topshop. Check the maternity section of their website.

Hi
Same problem here. After trying to convince myself a normal coat would do, I bought the black Topshop one - £70, lined, woolmix and a reasonably nice shape (high double breasted and then "tulip" at the bottom). I'm happy with it.

Hi Dorasmum, I am due in March and I got a very smart coat from Zara. It comes in red, black or green (I bought green) and it has a high but wide neck. It has three big shiny silver buttons and the bottom button is more or less just where my bump starts from. It is fitted at the top and swings out from the buttons. I absolutely love it and feel very smart in it. £100. For casual, I bought the chunky green cardigan from Next with the high neck. Seraphine and Isabella Oliver have some nice long cardigans and ponchos. The last time I was pregnant, also in the winter, I bought a long cardi from Jigsaw.
Monsoon usually also have long cardigans like that, possibly a bit cheaper.

Hope you find something.

When I was pg I got a coat from H&M maternity section - it was designed for bumps, not too expensive (didn't want to spend a fortune on something bought for such a short period of time)and because it was quite plain, navy, if I am ever pg again I can use it because it won't date too much - worth checking out.

i don't need a smart coat so i just got a bench jacket on ebay. it's short but fur lined with a high neck so it's really cosy. i got a size bigger than normal and the cunning bit is it has 2 zips at the back which open out to give extra bump room. i'm not due till may so i shouldn't need it when i'm most enormous.

I got a giant size 24 cardi that just ties in the middle over my bump.. and from Asda for £10 ! I've barely taken if off since I got it.
