Has anyone had the experience? Care to share??

Midwife suggested today that perhaps it was something to consider in light of a few factors, one being severe spd. My blood pressure is beginning to creep up too!!

I'm 34 weeks and had to quit driving, my mobility is severely restricted and I'm stressing which isnt helping!

Can't offer any advice yet unfortunately but I am being induced Friday at 38 weeks also! So after the weekend I will have experience of this! I'm sure other ladies will be along soon with their positive induction stories though! Xx

I have had two inductions, had waters broken just fine, sure you will be ok:) xx

I was induced in December at 37 weeks, hAd the pessary which got me to 2cm which meant they were able to break my waters, unfortunately this didn't get me into labor so ended up on the hormone drip. All in all it took 3 days, a lot of waiting around!

I was induced at 38 weeks with my first child due to cholestasis.
I was given the pessary for 3 days which eventually dialated me to 1 cm
then I had my waters broken and put on the hormone drip.
It took 4 days all together to have DD so don't be too surprised if it takes a while

Thank you! I update when I'm home. Yeah I've got the pessary first then breaking of waters if they don't go naturally, I'm expecting a long few days of waiting around!! Xxx

I think it generally makes a difference if it's your first or not.
