Trapped Wind!

I'm around 9 weeks and suffering from horrendous trapped wind.

It generally starts after lunch and gets more and more painful as the day goes on.
It only seems to escape during the night much to my amusement the disgust of DH, who has to put up with the noise/smell all night!
Anyone got any advice on how I can relieve the pain/stop the 'skin meltingly potent gas'?

Little bit of peppermint cordial should do the trick, so far as I know it's safe in pregnancy but you might want to Google to be sure

Rennies and lots of warm water - and a bit of gentle stretching or walking to help things along

Try the cat yoga pose too - down on all fours on the ground, bum in air and slowly lower your chin towards the ground. Try it about five times and then get up and stretch up to the air once.

Try Rennie deflatine. Had to wake hubby up at 3 in the morning on the weekend as the pain was worse than my first labour. Hubby, very obligingly, went out and got deflatine and it got better within a day. Not leaving the house without them these days

Cat pose and a bath.
