Will power to stop over eating!

Hi I need to find some will power on the food front!
I have PCOS so try to keep the amount of carbs down and follow a lower GI diet but all I want to do is eat carbs, really eat anything even if I'm not really feeling that hungry.
Worried the weight will start piling on soon, I'm almost 20 wks and think I've put on about 8-10lb so far but I'm not sure what the avg gain is at this stage.
Since 2012 I've lost close to 4st and I can see it all unwinding if I'm not careful Sad

First congratulations on your 4st weight loss! I'm totally with you on this one, i lost 3st last year after 1st pregnancy), am now 26+6 and have gained 16lb so far. First trimester I was really healthy but the past few weeks I'm constantly hungry and just eat and eat until I'm sooo full then regret it. I lost my 3st on weight watchers, I stopped when found out Im pregnant but last week signed back up online - not to necessarily follow the plan but to track what I am eating daily so instead of just mindlessly eating I am recording everything I have and weighing myself weekly. I don't want to lose weight - like you I just don't want all my hard work to unwind. I'm sure you had tactics when losing weight previously so just try and apply that to controlling your weight gain during pregnancy. 8-10lb doesn't sound a lot btw :)

Thanks.
A good deal of the weight was down to training (rugby and weights!) but I have had to stop that now and I haven't had the energy to get into anything else!
Just need to find that will power again to keep on the healthier stuff not what I want to eat.

Are you staying hydrated? Sometimes we want to eat when really we need to drink some water.

If you find some will power please send some my way! I have developed the biggest sweet tooth. Pre pregnancy I could honestly go months without sweets/chocolate but the number of mini eggs I'm getting through right now is embarrassing. Yesterday my bags burst and I dropped a load of mini eggs all over the train platform and I actually scooped them back up and ate them on the way home Blush
I'm also used to being able to eat what I want and running it off but can't do that anymore.
If it helps weeks 16-20 were my lowest point. Since then I've been tracking my food on My Fitness Pal app and drinking gallons of fizzy water when I get hungry.

Also, I think you're weight gain sounds spot on for 20 weeks so don't panic.
