Extremely faint positive lines

Hello, first time here :)
Took a test last night, about 16dpo and came out with a faint line that's barely visible within the 10 minutes, which then turned into a darker red line after a while. Wasn't sure if it was an evaporation line so did another test this morning and there was another line, but this time it was extremely, extremely faint and someone else might not see it, so it may just be I'm going nuts. BF was not home so couldn't get a second opinion.
Was it too soon to take another test? How long should I wait before the next one? This is all new to me so have no idea! Think I will just get a Clearblue digital one so wouldn't have to guess about the line...
Started having sore breasts a couple of days ago and cramps started yesterday, but thought they were just regular symptoms before the period. Now I'm not so sure!

Just be aware that a Clearblue may not be as sensitive as other tests - it takes several more days for a CB to say 'pregnant' when I've already had a positive on a First Response test.

I am currently in the same boat but my last af was on boxing day!!
Only just starting getting faint lines which some you can see clearly but some you need to squint to see but I fear I'm one of those rare cases where HCG doesn't get produced properly until the second trimester.

The best advice is to wait a couple of days as HCG levels double every 48 hours, and don't waste your money on a Clearblue Digi until you get a decent positive as they really aren't the most sensitive tests on the market.

Hope you get a clear answer soon! :) FX! Smile

Amazon do early pregnancy tests that are so cheap (£3/15) you could do one every day if you wanted

Did you do the test before or after missed period?

I done 2 tests and both came back with very very faint lines and when I went to the doctors they said that even the smallest of pregnancy hormone can be picked up sure enough I had to go for a scan to confirm and was only 2weeks pregnant so was a tiny sac that was it I now 30 weeks!
This happened on both of my pregnancies and I only ever bought the cheapest tests think they were like £2.30 for a pack of 20 of ebay
Good luck xx
