It would depend on how long your cycle is.

You tend to ovulate 12-16 days before the first day of your period.

My cycle was 28 days so used to test every day from day 12 of my cycle to day 18. I spent a lot of money because I tested over a long period of time but it worked.

Good luck!!!

My P is usually 3 days... they say the most fertile time is just after you finish your period.? trying to keep track on the period time is a nightmare as up and down at the moment...
so if I started 3days ago and finished today/tomorrow then this would be a 21day cycle, is that right???
Thanks

Your cycle starts on the first day you have your period and ends the day before the day you have your next period.

It doesn't really matter how long you bleed for really. (Sorry - don't want to put anyone off their lunch).

Your luteal phase which is the time from when you have ovulated to when you get your next period is usually 12-16 days. If you think you have a 21 day cycle and you are on day 4(?) of your cycle now, then you should start testing tomorrow and I would carry on until day 11 of your cycle.

A 21 day cycle is quite short. Are you sure you have your dates right?

mmm maybe I do have it wrong, I will check...

Thanks though : )

I found that for the first two months I had to spend a lot on kits (about two kits a month as only 7 test sticks in each) to find out where I ovulated. After this I discovered normally around day 18/19 and so I knew when to test and could use one kit over a couple of months.

I did that too Incy and was pregnant on my second cycle of using ovulation sticks.

They are a Godsend.
