confused could I be right?

I have been told my baby is due on the 17th of May and that I am 30 weeks now so that would mean round 10 weeks left so going on the diary 10 weeks is the 10th of May which would make me 40 weeks but they are saying that his due date is 17th which would make me 41 weeks am I right in saying my due date would be the 10th ? So confused
And also im feeling baby very low down and when he moves im getting pain and discomfort very deep in side my down below like he is engaged but is it to early for to feel the I dont remember my 1st being like this

I think there is a bit of confusion about how many weeks pregnant someone is and which week of their pregnancy they are in. So if you are seven weeks pregnant it means you have concluded seven full weeks since the first day of you last period, but you would be in the eighth week of pregnancy. I think that makes sense....am a little confused myself.

If you look at the calender and count the 17th May as "40" then each sunday prior cound a week less, week 30 is the 8th March, so you are currently 30+1, due the day you reach 40+0.

So you are 30 weeks pregnant but in week 31.

Yea thats right im 30+1today so will that make the due date the 17th so they are right I just dont no hehe

Hehe it is ok I found it hard keeping track. I knew I went into a new week on a Saturday but I never really remebered which week it was without counting them in my phone.

Not that I want you to go overdue but all the best people are born on the 19th of that Month
