Induction going ahead this morning,now terror struck!

Just heard they have a space in special care and so induction can go ahead today (34 weeks). I am freaking out,tell me something to calm me down??

You are going to meet your baby :) at 34 weeks baby will be OK good luck x

So exciting! Although of course it's daunting too, you finally get to meet your little one and that's the absolute best thing you can possibly do. Induction can take a while and it hurts so don't be afraid to ask for whatever pain relief you need and take things to amuse you and your birth partner for the waiting game. Congratulations OP and the very best of luck to you.

Speak with the midwives and doctors and ask lots of questions to help reassure you. Hope everything goes perfectly for you and that your little one is not in the special care unit for long

Exciting! Ds induction at 35 weeks with pessary. All very straight forward and 3 hour active labour. In SCBU for two weeks but he was pretty poorly we saw 34 weekers in and out in a couple of days. Thanks

Thankyou all,just waiting for doc to come in with Propess fingers and toes crossed that the induction takes and labour progresses well!
