A bit nervous...

So, I am 8 weeks today (yay!) but it is a little bittersweet in that I had some spotting whilst on holiday. Spoke to my GP who to be fair whilst I was on the phone to him from Spain was brilliant and said he wanted to see my tomorrow (I only arrived home today).

Whilst away I panicked and despite seeing the GP tomorrow, midwife was already arranged for Tuesday, I then booked an early scan for tomorrow evening.

I am nervous because I have convinced myself the scan will be fine but what if it's not? What if I did mc and there is nothing there?

Overall I think I am just worried and confused and weird.

I am also crazy busy at work this week which isn't helping.

I hope your ok, hopefully your scan will ease your mind. Its totally natural to be worried. I have my FX that all is wellThanks

I honestly hope all is ok for u.
I'm currently 21w and worried 24/7 that something bad is happening/ has happened. I think it's a natural feeling when pregnant.
Good luck for tomorrow. X

How did it go catlady?

crazycatlady82 · 10/03/2015 21:16

Hi there,

Had my scan tonight and delighted to say there was a tiny heart beat. I am also estimated at 8+2!

Couldn't be happier. Really delighted.

Thank you Smile

I'm panicking I'm 11+5 days and over the past couple of days my sickness has gone (yay) but I don't feel pregnant no more. I had a scan at 8 weeks and I seen the heartbeat but I'm worried that I won't see it in the 12 week scan I got in 5 days! Any advise? Peace of mind?

ImpatiencePersonified · 11/03/2015 08:20

Ahh brill news crazy!

Panic if that means trouble then I'm your neighbour... 11 +6 here and all of the very mild symptoms I had been having have done a runner.

We'll both be fine, honest x

PanicParker123 · 11/03/2015 08:47

I'm just probably stressing for nothing but today I've been feeling gas bubbles and flutters. This is my second pregnancy. I am just a worrier. I'm sure we both will, when's your scan?

lmb21010 · 11/03/2015 23:54

Yay! So happy for you catlady!
Panic, do try to wait it out. Sickness is said to ease generally by 12 weeks, and I definitely didn't feel pregnant that early. Fluttering etc is good.
I'm still worrying now at 22 weeks and I can feel baby every day now.

PanicParker123 · 12/03/2015 06:32

I hate the unknown, I'm 12weeks tomorrow so rang the ultrasound department yesterday to see if my scan can happen tomorrow and they are saying I'm 12 weeks Monday but at my early scan I said I was 8+3 on a Monday so how can I be exactly 12 weeks on a Monday ?? I just need peace of mind.

applecore0317 · 12/03/2015 13:01

Symptoms and sickness do generally tend to subside at around 11 weeks Panic and Impatience* it can ease off when the placenta takes over.

Your pregnancy won't be dated until the 12 week scan as measurements can change so much. They will still date you from you last period if known. I was dated 4 days less at my early scan then at the 12 week scan I was dated 6 days over, this is when they give you your due date
