Hi
None of my bras fit me anymore. Has anyone bought maternity bras from mothercare? Do they measure you there? If not can anyone suggest somewhere please?
Thanks in advance x

I just bought 3 genie bras from amazon on the recommendation of someone on here, they were only £12.99 and I thought I'd take a punt as they weren't too expensive and I must say, this is my third baby and I hated maternity bras the last time, I am loving the genie bras. They are super comfy but also have a bit of padding so they look nice and my boobs look nice in them!

I went to Mothercare today to be measured and the woman spent about forty minutes with me, bringing bras for me to check the right size. She was lovely and I got two nursing bras for £30 (they didn't have maternity bras in my massive size!!) so I would happily recommend their fitting service.

Thanks. I saw some padded ones online at mothercare. I will take a trip tomorrow!

No don't let Mothercare fit you, they are as bad as M&S. do you have Bravissimo near you?

dementedpixie · 07/03/2015 21:09

mothercare add inches to the back size so give you a bra too big in the back and too small in the cup.

could you measure under your bust and then measure over your bust while bending forward and post the measurements and we will suggest sizes to try

Bravado body silk seamless bras. I wore them throughout pregnancy and I'm now breastfeeding with them. So comfy and fit a range of sizes. I have size small and they've fitted me from a b cup to an e!

I was just in a Mothercare shop a few days ago, and overheard a junior assistant asking her more senior colleague for advice. That a woman measures 31 and 38, what bra size should she offer. 36C, said the expert fitter. Gaah. I was so close to barging into the fitting room to tell the woman not to listen to this..

I've just checked bravissimo and the nearest are Cheltenham or Cardiff and I'm in Bristol.
Desperately need something today... Grrr

John Lewis is usually quite good too

I got fitted in John Lewis and came away with two bras only £14 each. They advised me to ditch the underwire and new bra is really comfy and still supportive. ..
