Clear blue 2-3 at 6 weeks?

So, I'm an idiot I know but...

I had a clear blue digital left and I turned 6 weeks today so thought I'd check to see if I'd progressed from 2-3 weeks to 3+ since last week and when I tested this morning it still says 2-3 weeks.

Has this happened to anyone and it was all fine?

I should know better, this is my second pregnancy and I know that peeing on sticks drives you nuts, they can be inaccurate but still I'm a bit concerned and when I stupidly googled it lots of threads about eventual miscarriage come up.

Yes, I was 7 weeks when the CB finally went up to 3. As you say yourself, they're not that accurate.

Yeah I think I was also around 7 weeks before I got a 3+ and I had a healthy baby at the end of it. Spent a small fortune on cb digis in the process .

Please try to relax. Unfortunately, if you're going to mc then there's not much you can do about it, but chances are that everything will be fine. Don't start Googling pregnancy worries, it's a slippery slope!

My due date changed at the dating scan which means when I last did one of those tests I would have been towards the end of week 6. It said 1-2. I think they're much easier tests in terms of giving a definite yes or no but I wouldn't bother much with the how far along bit.

Thanks ladies, you're absolutely right, just having a momentary freak out. I had terrible bleeds in my first pregnancy so first twelve weeks were just awful as we really thought he wasn't going to make it (he's 2.5 now and fine!)

Because of that we have a private scan booked at 8 weeks so that's not too far away now. Thanks for replying

As I can see from the CB manual, it should go up to 3 weeks around HCG of 10 000 or thereabouts. Normal HCG levels at 6 weeks pregnant are between 1080 and 56 500.

I was 6 and a half weeks before it went up, and I've had an early scan and had my date put back a week, so possibly your dates are slightly out?

Remember as well the cb digital is giving you a date from conception. Your 6 weeks is from you last period so that would still be 5+ weeks pregnant.
