Hi, I'm 19 weeks tomorrow and 3 days ago I felt pop / flick inside which I think was me feeling the baby move for the first time and I felt it again once more that night but have felt nothing since. Is that normal to have it stop and not feel it since

In the very early stages it can be quite intermittent as it depends on the position of the baby, your position, and what you've eaten that day etc.

Don't worry, you'll soon be struggling to sleep because baby is having a party!

Oh ok, I thought the feelings would be every day now that they started

At 19 weeks your baby is still pretty small, and can easily move into a position where you can't feel them, so not unusual at all, but it won't be long before you are feeling them all the time!

Hi pebble, I too had the odd twitch about 19 weeks but wasn't 100% if it was baby as midwife said it gets stronger/ more regular pretty quickly after the first flutters but I wasn't feeling anymore that the odd pop. Was in hospital for bleeding (low placenta) last week and checked with Doppler every few hours, nurse kept asking if I could feel anything as she could hear the thuds when baby moved. Couldn't feel a thing... However, since coming home 5 days ago I've felt baby move/kick several times a day, even seen him/her kick a couple of times! (21w, first baby).
